Ngày 02/03/2026, tại trường MN Shining Star, cơ sở Nguyễn Văn Khối, TP Hồ Chí Minh, một dấu mốc quan trọng đã được thiết lập khi các tổ chức Montessori trong khu vực chính thức ký kết khung hợp tác nhằm nâng cao chất lượng giáo dục Montessori tại Việt Nam và Đông Nam Á.
Buổi làm việc có sự tham dự:
Bà Christine Harrison – Đại sứ AMI Đông Nam Á TS. Kannekar Butt – Chủ tịch Montessori Association Thailand (MAT) TS. Charinrat Tongpenyai, cùng đại diện Hội Cựu học viên AMI Việt Nam (AVA) TS. Trần Thị Thương Hiền – Đại diện Hệ thống Giáo dục Shining Star Montessori Việt Nam.
Cuộc thảo luận tập trung vào việc thiết lập quan hệ hợp tác chính thức để triển khai chương trình Montessori chất lượng cao tại Việt Nam, đựa trên nền tảng AMI toàn cầu. Đại diện MASEAN và MAT cam kết hỗ trợ thông qua việc kết nối chuyên gia quốc tế, tổ chức đào tạo tại trường và chương trình Đào tạo Giảng viên, hướng tới mục tiêu xây dựng năng lực bền vững cho đội ngũ giáo dục địa phương. Về phía Shining Star Việt Nam, đại diện nhấn mạnh nền tảng hơn một thập kỷ chuẩn bị, đồng hành cùng hệ thống quy định của Bộ Giáo dục, sẵn sàng tạo điều kiện pháp lý và cơ sở hạ tầng để triển khai đào tạo chuyên nghiệp, chuẩn mực và phù hợp thực tiễn Việt Nam.
Các bên thống nhất rằng sự minh bạch, tin tưởng và đối thoại cởi mở chính là nền tảng cho thành công lâu dài. MAT sẽ đóng vai trò cầu nối chuyên môn với đội ngũ AMI quốc tế, đồng hành hỗ trợ “Tiếng nói Montessori Việt Nam” phát triển vững mạnh, cho đến khi cộng đồng trong nước đủ năng lực tự dẫn dắt.Chúng tôi trân trọng mời gọi các nhà giáo, nhà quản lý và chuyên gia cùng gia nhập cộng đồng, chung tay đặt những viên gạch vững chắc cho một hệ sinh thái Montessori chuẩn mực và bền vững tại Việt Nam.

SHAPING A STANDARDIZED MONTESSORI FUTURE IN VIETNAM
On March 2, 2026, at Shining Star Nguyen Van Khoi Campus, a significant milestone was marked as regional Montessori organizations officially signed a cooperation framework to enhance the quality of Montessori education in Vietnam and across Southeast Asia.
The working session was honored by the presence of:
Ms. Christine Harrison – AMI Ambassador for Southeast Asia Dr. Kannekar Butt – President of Montessori Association Thailand (MAT) Dr. Charinrat Tongpenyai, along with representatives of the AMI Alumni Vietnam (AVA) Dr. Tran Thi Thuong Hien – Representative of Shining Star Montessori Education System Vietnam Discussions focused on formalizing a collaborative partnership to implement high-quality Montessori programs in Vietnam, grounded in global AMI standards. Representatives from MASEAN and MAT committed to supporting the initiative by connecting international experts, organizing on-site training, and developing Trainer Training Programs — all aimed at building sustainable capacity for the local education workforce. From Shining Star Vietnam’s perspective, the representative emphasized more than a decade of preparation and alignment with the Ministry of Education’s regulatory framework, affirming readiness in both legal infrastructure and operational capacity to deliver professional, standardized, and context-appropriate Montessori training in Vietnam. All parties agreed that transparency, trust, and open dialogue form the foundation for long-term success. MAT will serve as a professional bridge to the international AMI community, accompanying and supporting the growth of the “Montessori Voice of Vietnam” until the local community is fully empowered to lead independently.We respectfully invite educators, school leaders, and experts to join this growing community — to collectively lay strong foundations for a standardized and sustainable Montessori ecosystem in Vietnam.
